These look delicious! What effect does champagne have on the cupcake taste/ texture exactly?
Thanks!

I am gonna try making them for my sisters wedding shower, just one question do I take the 1/4 - 1/2 c. white cake mix (dry) out of the cake mix for the cupcakes or do I get 2 cake mix boxes and take the 1/3 c. out of there?

Hi Ashley-
Take it out of a second box. I always have a white cake mix on hand and add a little of the mix to all of my frosting! It’s great:) These will be perfect for a wedding!

Do you recommend a brand for the champagne? There are so many choices!

Hi Melissa-
I think I just used a cheap bottle of rose. The flavor isn’t super strong, but I always love Barefoot Moscato! http://www.barefootwine.com/our-wines/bubbly-wines/pink-moscato
